"Can’t believe it’s been 10 months since getting married! This time last year I was getting my fabulous jumpsuit and coat made, being nervous and happy each time I went to a fitting. I had an idea in my head of what I wanted back in August 2022, before we had even confirmed the venue and date. I knew I was asking for a lot because we wanted a winter wedding, so timings would be tight. My first visit was in September 2022, Leigh had prepared fabric swatches she thought I would like and we discussed my ideas and what were show stoppers for me. She sketched the designs, based on a fairly basic description I gave, mainly with my hands, rather than words. And that was it, easy, lots of chatting, lots of sketching, plans made. I then had to wait, which was hard. But it was worth it! My amazing jumpsuit fabric was made from orange peel, a waste product from the orange juice industry. It felt like the silkiest soft fabric ever and has an amazing sheen. I love that Leigh sourced this and gave me this option. It was, to any onlooker, a perfectly simple jumpsuit, with puffball shoulders and an open back. But I know how much work went into making a ‘perfectly simple’ outfit so perfect. Everything was visible, every stitch, every crease, every fold. The French seams were tiny and perfect, the zip was so well hidden and the box pleats were completely even. It was exactly what I wanted. My coat made me feel like a princess, a floor length floaty number, with a giant hood. Again, it seems simple, but I know it wasn’t that simple to make. I wanted the hood to look heavy and draped at the back, but I didn’t want it to be heavy (I knew I would have an updo). I didn’t want any additional fabrics or colours, so the buttons were covered to match my coat fabric. I wanted it to be floor length, but not dragging along the floor as it would get wet. I could go on about every feature and bore everyone, but that was what I wanted, and Leigh made everything exactly how I imagined it. As a last minute addition, we had two fabulous faux fur muffs and two pocket squares made, in my jumpsuit fabric. All of this was finished by the end of February, for me to board a plane and fly out to Finland for a Northern Lights wedding in the snow. Luckily for me, I got to wear my jumpsuit again for our UK celebration! I love it and need to find more places to wear it.If you have an idea and want to chat things through, Leigh takes the time to understand what you want and what will work. I definitely recommend."

She managed to bring it to life in less than 4 months but unfortunately we had to postpone for a year. Everything from the initial consultation, to every single subsequent appointment has been amazing and Leigh is such a perfectionist. My dress is absolutely perfect.
